Suresh is a Safety Professional with significant experience in safety and health in the areas of Auditing, Training and Consultancy. He has worked in large Indian conglomerates as well as multinational organisations in his career, with his last tenure in Tata Group as Chief - Group Safety & Health, wherein he steered and led efforts in enhancing safety culture & performance while interfacing with CEOs, senior leadership & senior safety professionals of Tata companies.
Suresh has a rich experience in safety and health with hands-on experience in the initial period of his career with companies like Johnson & Johnson, Tata Chemicals and BJ Services (now Baker Hughes, a GE company). The last decade and a half in a senior leadership role with stints in Castrol India (a BP Group company), Essar Steel, Tata Motors, and Tata Group in strategic roles, he has been providing leadership & direction in H&S and formulating H&S strategies and policies with oversight on governance and compliance.
He leads a team of BSC Associate Auditors in the delivery of auditing, training and consultancy services and interacts with clients as necessary. He is an active member of the technical team of the British Safety Council, UK and provides inputs and interfaces with the team regularly on Five-star Health & Safety Audit specifications versions and in various other products and services offerings.
